1. Introduction

1.1 These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) constitute a legal contract between yumiHome (“we,” “us,” “our”), the provider of flooring solutions, including artificial grass, carpets, composite decking, and related accessories, and the individual or entity purchasing goods or services (“Customer,” “you”).

1.2 By accessing or using our website or services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.


2. Definitions

2.1 “yumiHome” refers to the business providing artificial grass, carpets, composite decking, and related accessories.

2.2 “Customer” refers to any individual or entity purchasing goods or services from yumiHome.


3. Orders and Payments

3.1 Orders placed with yumiHome are subject to availability and our acceptance.

3.2 Prices are subject to change without notice, but any changes will not affect orders already confirmed.

3.3 Payment for orders must be made in full at the time of purchase through the available payment methods.


4. Shipping and Delivery

4.1 Dispatch & Delivery: Orders placed before 2 pm are typically dispatched on a 2-4 working day delivery service within mainland UK. Delivery times for overseas locations and the Highlands are estimated at 5-14 working days.

4.2 All delivery dates are estimates. We are not liable for delays, and we recommend scheduling installers only after you have received your order.

4.3 Signature on Delivery: A signature is required unless prior authorization has been given for the goods to be left unattended. If you choose to authorize unattended delivery, we are not responsible for any loss or damage.

4.4 Delivery Conditions: Delivery is kerbside only, and it is the Customer’s responsibility to transport items to a secure location. Our drivers may assist at their discretion, but are not required to move items beyond the ground floor or indoors.

4.5 Delivery Charges: We offer free delivery for orders over £190. For orders below this threshold, standard delivery charges apply. Next-day and Saturday deliveries are available for additional charges.

4.6 Redelivery Fee: A redelivery fee of up to £40 will apply for missed deliveries or incorrect addresses.


5. Returns and Refunds

5.1 Changing Your Mind: You may return your order within 30 days, provided it is in original condition and packaging (where possible). A 24% restocking fee applies to all returns, and flooring orders are considered bespoke, meaning they are non-refundable unless faulty.

5.2 Faulty Products: If your product is faulty, notify us within 30 days with photographic evidence. If confirmed, you may receive a full refund, repair, or replacement. Faults reported after 30 days may result in a partial refund, repair, or replacement.

5.3 Incorrect Products: If we send the wrong product, we will arrange a free collection and replacement. If you wish to return for any other reason, a collection fee of up to £50 may apply.

5.4 Return Shipping Costs: Return shipping costs are your responsibility unless the product is faulty or incorrect. If a product is faulty, we will reimburse the return shipping costs.

5.5 Substitute Products: If an item is unavailable, we will contact you to offer a refund or an alternative product. We will only proceed with a substitute after obtaining your approval.

5.6 Liability: Our liability under this returns policy is limited to the value of your original order and does not cover third-party costs, such as installation.

5.7 Colour Variations: Product colours may vary due to monitor settings or material variations. We recommend ordering free samples before making a purchase.


6. Product Warranty

6.1 yumiHome warrants that products will be free from defects in material and workmanship for 365 days under normal use from the date of purchase.

6.2 The warranty does not cover damage from improper installation, maintenance, or misuse.


7. Intellectual Property

7.1 All intellectual property rights related to yumiHome’s products, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents, are the exclusive property of yumiHome.

7.2 Customers are prohibited from using yumiHome’s intellectual property without prior written consent.


8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, yumiHome will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of its products or services.

8.2 yumiHome’s total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the product or service giving rise to the claim.


9. General Terms

9.1 yumiHome reserves the right to amend these terms at any time without prior notice.

9.2 This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between yumiHome and the Customer and supersedes all prior agreements.

9.3 Disputes will be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where yumiHome operates.


10. Delivery Instructions

10.1 If you are unavailable during delivery, you may leave a signed note providing delivery instructions. However, the driver has discretion and may choose not to deliver if the risk is deemed too high.

10.2 Delivery is kerbside, and drivers are not obligated to move goods indoors or beyond the ground floor.
